About My Frames

My photo
Welcome to The Frame Event! My name is Sarah Gale and between being married to my wonderful husband Steve, raising our sweet son Tanner, teaching 6th grade, church, and running, I make chic, vintage, and unique wooden frames from scrapbook paper and embellishments. Frames make a great gift for weddings, baby showers, birthdays, mother's day and any other special event you'd like to celebrate. To make them extra special you can even have one personalized with your loved ones full name or initial(s) or a special message. I currently work with frames that are approximately 8" x 8" with a photo opening of 3.5" x 3.5". These have rounded edges as well as the photo opening. These start at $25. I have begun working with larger frames that are approximately 11 5/8" x 11 5/8" with a photo opening of 4" x 4". These larger frames have squared edges as well as the photo opening. Prices for these will begin at $35. Please email me at sjc2191@verizon.net to order your frame today. Also, please feel free to post a comment here on my blog to let me know what you think about my frames. I can't wait to create a unique frame just for you!

So I didn't quite finish my mother-in-laws frames before I head back to school tomorrow, but I shall before we visit in September.  I've been busy making some of the new large frames for some special friends.  I enjoyed trying to create something for each of them that suited their tastes and individual styles.  Let me know what you think.

A la carte

Well, I've completed 9 frames so far out of 20!  I think these were my most difficult to embellish, but I'm pleased with them.  It's nice to have creative freedom, although I find it easier to create when I have a particular style, color, etc. to go by.  Thanks to all that have been reading my blog and sharing it with others.  I truly appreciate it!  Stay tuned for Christmas in July!  : )

Frames for Donna - 3 out of 20

Out of hiding

Well, my last blog was an embarrassingly long time ago.  I've been busy teaching 6th grade, raising my crazy four year old with my husband, organizing my home, summer professional development, and all the other things teachers do when they're "off" in the summer.  As a friend of mine mentioned, summer is the time for crafting and, with my newly organized craft/play room, I have begun once again.  My first project is to finish an order of 20 frames for my mother-in-law, which is currently underway and will be finished before school starts.  Then there's several that I have planned for friends and family as gifts.  Here's to letting the creative juices flow!
