So I didn't quite finish my mother-in-laws frames before I head back to school tomorrow, but I shall before we visit in September.  I've been busy making some of the new large frames for some special friends.  I enjoyed trying to create something for each of them that suited their tastes and individual styles.  Let me know what you think.

Well, I've completed 9 frames so far out of 20!  I think these were my most difficult to embellish, but I'm pleased with them.  It's nice to have creative freedom, although I find it easier to create when I have a particular style, color, etc. to go by.  Thanks to all that have been reading my blog and sharing it with others.  I truly appreciate it!  Stay tuned for Christmas in July!  : )

Out of hiding

Well, my last blog was an embarrassingly long time ago.  I've been busy teaching 6th grade, raising my crazy four year old with my husband, organizing my home, summer professional development, and all the other things teachers do when they're "off" in the summer.  As a friend of mine mentioned, summer is the time for crafting and, with my newly organized craft/play room, I have begun once again.  My first project is to finish an order of 20 frames for my mother-in-law, which is currently underway and will be finished before school starts.  Then there's several that I have planned for friends and family as gifts.  Here's to letting the creative juices flow!
