About My Frames

My photo
Welcome to The Frame Event! My name is Sarah Gale and between being married to my wonderful husband Steve, raising our sweet son Tanner, teaching 6th grade, church, and running, I make chic, vintage, and unique wooden frames from scrapbook paper and embellishments. Frames make a great gift for weddings, baby showers, birthdays, mother's day and any other special event you'd like to celebrate. To make them extra special you can even have one personalized with your loved ones full name or initial(s) or a special message. I currently work with frames that are approximately 8" x 8" with a photo opening of 3.5" x 3.5". These have rounded edges as well as the photo opening. These start at $25. I have begun working with larger frames that are approximately 11 5/8" x 11 5/8" with a photo opening of 4" x 4". These larger frames have squared edges as well as the photo opening. Prices for these will begin at $35. Please email me at sjc2191@verizon.net to order your frame today. Also, please feel free to post a comment here on my blog to let me know what you think about my frames. I can't wait to create a unique frame just for you!

Olivia's frame

I made this as a gift for the baby girl of a friend of my friend Erica. She told me the colors of her room where pink, brown and white and that she likes polka dots. I found the giant pollka dot paper (at Hobby Lobby) and thought it would look cute with the pink flowers (Prima Flowers) and rhinestones. I painted the frame the same pink as the polka dots. This one just makes me think of a happy, bubbly little girl when I look at it! :-)

Afton's frame

This is one of my most recent frames I made as a gift for my friend Samantha's little girl, Afton, on her 3rd birthday. She asked for shabby chic, white, and pale pink with a princess theme. I used G.C.D. Studios Paper and "Grungeboard" letters. This was my first time to use embossing and stamps, so I'm satisfied with how it turned out. I added the embossed stamp of a crown with rhinestones. This is one of my favorites too! :-)

Black and White Frame

This was one of the first frames I made. I used paper from a Me & My Big Ideas Specialty Cardstock Stack. I painted the frame white. I added rhinestones to some of the black dots and flowers to give it a little bling! :-)

Black & Pink Flower frame

The very first frame I made in Spring of '08. The paper is from KI Memories Designer Paper Pack and the large and medium flowers are Prima Flowers. I added rhinestones to all the flowers for extra "bling".

Tamela's frame

I made this frame for my friend Tamela and she picked out the paper for it from a stack of Me & My Big Ideas Specialty Cardstock. I painted the frame black since the background of the paper was black. I added a few rhinestones to a couple of the white "flowers" on the paper and one to the red flower (Prima Flowers) as well. This is my attempt at a classy chic frame! :-)

Adalae's frame

I made this frame for my friend Heather's baby girl, Adalae. I used some cute polka dot paper from a DCWV Scrapbook stack with the colors she asked for and painted the frame white to match her nursery furniture. I cut out little owls and hearts from a K & Company Specialty Paper Stack and then outlined them with brown scrapbook paper. I used "Grungeboard" letters and painted them brown. I think it turned out very cute! :-)
